These are firearms and firearms-related things that I have created using AutoCAD. Click on the thumbnails for full-sized images. Clicking the "A" button will open an alternate view.
Rifles
This is a 20mm (.75 caliber) anti-material rifle. It fires a shorter cartridge than your average 20mm; packing enough power to get the explosive projectile to the target without hammering the shooter's shoulder. Not pictured are the bipod and sights. The sights would mount off to the left side, out of the way of the magazine.
Here is a 25mm (one inch bore) single-shot cannon. It is designed for use on light armored vehicles and armor plated elephants. It's somewhat overbuilt for what it is, but it sure looks good! The entire setup is three feet tall.
Handguns
This gas-operated pistol fires a cartridge made by necking down a .357 Magnum to accept a .308" bullet. I call it the 7.62x32mm. This gun uses an AK-style slanted muzzle brake to help reduce muzzle flip. Including this brake, the barrel is 10 inches long. Nearly identical in function to the 7.62x32mm pistol, this smaller, 5-inch barreled version fires the shorter 7.62 Tokarev round.
Shotguns
This .410 bore fully-automatic shotgun serves no ther purpose than blasting things into tiny bits! It can be loaded with slugs to become a powerful submachine gun, but the lack of a sighting system would limit its effectiveness.
Ammunition
This rifle cartridge is made by necking up a .30-06 Springfield case to accept a .407 caliber bullet. Pictured on the left is an unaltered .30-06 cartridge. I call this the 10×63mm Magnum. Here is a cartridge based on the 10mm Auto case. It is necked down to accept a .20 caliber bullet, and is therefore called the .200 Auto. It is designed to be used in 10mm pistols with a barrel and recoil spring change.
The 25mm cannon pictured in the section titled "rifles" fires these cartridges. These ones pictured are armor-piercing explosive rounds. Each cartridge is just over 7 inches tall. Here are four of my creations based on the .600 Nitro Express case. Pictured far left is an unaltered .600NE cartridge. The next three cartridges, like the .600NE, are designed for hunting large and dangerous game. The .338/600 is simply an extremely loud, expensive, and flat-shooting speed demon. It's more of a fun blasting cartridge than a hunting cartridge.
