The Arcotron tubes shown here are from a whole line I drew up in MS-Paint a couple years ago. I'm slowly re-drawing selected tubes in AutoCAD. The alternate view will display the original version of each tube. These are not related to the German externally controlled subminiatures branded "Arcotron." Click on the thumbnails for full-sized images. Clicking the "A" button will open an alternate view.

Click the above line of tubes to see the original MS-Paint lineup. Be ready to scroll, it's long!

Diodes
|
Designation: 251D
Description: Diode, DH
Applications: Half-wave rectifier, detector
Notes: This is the first tube of the 48 that I drew.

Triodes
|
Designation: 351D
Description: Triode, DH
Applications: RF amplifier, AF amplifier, detector
Notes:This tube is simply a 251D with a grid added. It is strange in its electrode design, as it is "inside out" compared to a conventional triode.

Tetrodes
|
Designation: 464K
Description: Screen-grid tetrode, IDH
Applications: RF amplifier, detector
Notes: The limitations of drawing tubes of this size in MS-Paint led to a rather sloppy solution for connecting the plate, and an overall weaker electrode structure. My CAD drawing shows much more accurately what I had in mind.
